“Lord, do Thou turn me all into love, and all my love into obedience, and let my obedience be without interruption.”

Oh what a whirlwind of a great goodness filled week.

1.  Hmm…Sunday two people came to our house wanting to go to church.  How cool is that?  I had never even met them.

2.  Last Thursday I did visitations (door to door evangelism) with Pastor Timothy.  This is one of my favorite things to do.  It was great.  I spent a lot of time with a young woman named Jen.  I am hoping to get back soon.

3.  I spent much time with Arada and Consoleta.  What sweet times of fellowship.

4.  This Friday the real life team comes.  22 of them with their own leaders from AIM.  I just have done some set-up and am here to answer questions, but my hands are off.  That is good.  I am just taking things very slowly.

5.  I went to counseling last week.  It was great.  It rehashed a lot of stuff that has been twirling around in my head and heart about my time here, but it is also spectacular to sort it all out.  The Lord keeps telling me that I have one more year in this position.  I am not sure what that means.  If he wants me to take one step at a time or that I am to move to a new position in fall 2007.  I don’t know, but I am pumped up.  God seems to be more near than ever and I don’t want him to ever loosen his embrace.

6.  Keep praying for all the Christians here in Kibera.  There is awful darkness all around and may not the “darkness conquer the light, unless the Light is Divine.”  Pray that they would be strengthened in their faith this week….

7.   I am reading this book about Amy Carmichael.  She was a strong woman of God and served in

India.  Every time I set the book down I think that I want to be a missionary and am so pumped up and then I remember that I identify with her in so many ways.  Every day we experience something of the depth of Jesus, so that we may also know the power of the life of Jesus in these bodies of ours.  2 Corinthians 4:10.  Phillips

8.  Am feeling so much better!  Thank you for praying.  Yesterday I had a slight elevated temperature.  But no complaints.  So crazy to see the Lord heal in the way He alone has planned.
