I have been struck lately with this simple concept that all we have to do is love God, love people, and love the nations. I find myself at different moments of the day asking how I can do one of those three things and it is blowing my mind. If at every moment, whether in Kenya or Mexico or Chicago or Gainesville, if I could just see the hurting all around in that moment and love. Wow.
For instance, at Publix the other day i paused and asked God how He wanted me to love Him, love people, and love the nations. He pushed me to talk to the woman in front of me. She was buying a whole bunch of magazines. I began conversing with her and she let me know that she buys magazine’s for the crossword puzzles becuase she is lonely. My heart felt pain. The world around us is hurting and if for a moment i could just get over myself and be in the moment God has put before me. Oh sweet goodness.
