This past weekend we went to a mountain town called Eburru.
My first time there was in 2005.
I enjoyed just observing and soaking in the evolution of ministry there.

One night at two in the morning in 2005, a man, Jeff, found his way to Pastor Steve and said that he had heard what the team shared about Jesus and he couldn't wait any longer to receive Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

This weekend I observed Jeff, now an elder, active in the church.
  It was beautiful.

There is also a clinic and a discipleship training school in progress of being built.

All this has happened over the past two years and I was overwhelmed with how the Lord works making something wonderful out of nothing.

I helped the ladies one afternoon make this food which is a mixture of potatoes, corn, and spinach.
We were stirring it and mashing it together.
I had my wooden spoon taken away from me because I kept spilling potatoes over the side.
It was just wonderful to be with women there.

More to come soon.
